Can a small robot many million miles away on a dry, cold desert on Mars affect your stomach, especially if you like Shrimps ?

Here is a photo of my two year old son Neil eating free Giant shrimps at a Long John Silver restaurant in Austin, TX, on May 10, 2004. Long John Silver, a nation-wide chain of restaurants, had promised that they would give a free giant shrimp to everyone in USA if NASA's rovers find evidence of an (a past or present ) Ocean on Mars. After exactly such a discovery by the rover Oppurtunity at Meridiani Planum, LJS actually delivered its promise -
