Mars Society - Oregon Chapter
Robert Lilly calls himself a westerner, and a bit of a wanderer. After getting his BS in Computer in Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1988, he did five and half years with Boeing Commercial Aircraft, working as a systems analyst and designer on the B747-400, B767, and B777 series airliners. Graduate school in Boston from 1993 to 1995 yielded an Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, concentrating on Fields, Waves and Optics, with a secondary concentration in semiconductors and microwave circuits.
Since then Robert has worked in the semiconductor industry as an applications engineer. In his spare time, Robert appreciates fine microbrews, tends to his rose bushes, and lambasts the apathetic and educates the uninitiated with regard to commercial and government space endevours.
