NSTA Regional Convention (Seattle, WA) - October 19-21, 1998 - We staffed a booth at this major convention held by the National Science Teachers Association several times a year around the country. RustyCon (Everett, WA) - January 16, 1999 - We staffed a booth at this annual science fiction convention, and chapter President Jim Burk presented our first lecture on Mars exploration and Mars Direct to an audience of 30 attendees.
