Everyone, member and non-member alike, is welcome to attend our meetings. The Lillian H. Smith Library lies south of the lower left campus on the U of T map. Both the library and the U of T's Earth Sciences Centre have graciously allowed us to use their facilities in the past. The Lillian H. Smith Library is located at the southwest corner of College and Huron Streets, one block east of Spadina. The entrance is flanked by aquiline-creature carvings. Our meetings are held on the basement floor, in Room A. The University of Toronto's Earth Sciences Building lies northeast of College & Spadina, at the corner of Huron and Russell Streets. Our meetings here take place on the second floor, Room 2093. Whether approaching from the north or south, enter the sheltered outside corridor, walk towards the center of the building, and enter the doors labelled 'Department of Geology' near the mineral displays. When unable to book the Library for our meetings, the Chapter has decided that the Arbor Room, in Hart House at 7 Hart House Circle will be our alternate meeting place. It has plenty of tables and chairs, and doesn't require booking, but is a public cafeteria. It isn't the best location for a meeting, but is convenient on short notice when we're unable to do better.
