The city of Toronto will be the stage for the 3rd Annual Mars Society Conference. The Toronto Chapter is responsible for much of the implementation and organizing work. This page documents the current state of planning for new volunteers and seasoned members both.

Have you experience in organizing conferences, or exciting and unique notions for a Canadian space and Mars fest? Believe that you've an idea overlooked here? Do you wish to directly take a place in determining the Conference's success? Contact us.

The campus of Ryerson Polytechnic University is to host and showcase the Society for four days in August, when the city is typically at it's most glorious. The linked structures of the school are co-extensive with the center of downtown; Toronto landmarks such as the Eaton Centre, the Pantages Theatre, and Maple Leaf Gardens are a few minutes' walk distant. The entire city is accessible from the Yonge subway line passing immediately west of the campus.

Ryerson has reserved a block of 150 dormitory rooms, overlooking Conference grounds, that can be rented by attendees. As the prices range from $32 for students, to $46 for all others, these advantageous lodgings are not likely to long remain unclaimed.

Attending the Conference, and have questions about the city?Questions that are not answered by our tourist information can be addressed to the Webmaster.
