Here is a map of the water table (Hydrogen reading) on Mars, as currently understood via Mars Orbiter. Mars on Wikipedia |
Blue is a high
concentration (50% at poles), and on the other end of the spectrum is red
(almost dry). Green is mid concentration. Mars is
3,396.2 ± 0.1 km[a][3] in diameter. (Wikipedia) |
Blue also means within 3 meters of the surface or less. Green is estimated within 6 meters. (It can be covered by dry ice in winter.)

The Ice on Mars audio was
included in the webmaster's Water purification track at the
2010 Mars Society International Convention in Dayton, Ohio, over August 5th -
8th.

Try doing that by clicking you right mouse button on the link.
They should auto launch into your default player on your computer, when you
click the link.
Here's a link to NASA/JPL's Phoenix Lander.
Hope you enjoyed listening to the audios - and you were
inspired!
I'll have more about Mars and water later, I hope.
