The Mars Society has chapters in the four largest cities in Texas:

San Antonio Chapter
The Mars Society of San Antonio was founded in 2000. We have held fundraisers,
meetings, and conventions. Our chapter also participates in local events, such
as Amazing Skies, which will be held
in May 2008 at the Scobee
Planetarium in San Antonio. We also support the
San Antonio Astronomical
Association. Our chapter will seek new leadership when we hold officer
elections in December 2008. If you are interested in leading, joining, and/or
