TMS-SD MEETING NOTES FOR JUNE 10, 2002

TMS-SD met at Gerry's studio on June 10th. Everybody there agreed the eclipse was fantastic and were glad to see it. Gerry Williams, Tim Sommer, Debbie Sommer, John Stone, Jonathan Butler, Groff Bittner, and Dave Rankin were present.
We answered the handbook questionnaire sent to the chapter by the Mars Society. Dave Rankin was tasked to write up the answers for transmission before the deadline of June 15th.
We discussed Comic-Con and the speakers we've got lined up. Jonathan, Tim, and Gerry agreed to make some contacts for more speakers. We all agreed it would be helpful to have an analog Mars Suit, whether by loan from the MS or by making one ourselves.
We did a simple edit of the Comic-Con presentations.
Gerry agreed to look into the banner once again.
We began redoing the flyers but didn't complete the job when time ran out. Dave agreed to work on a change and email the suggestions to the group for comment.
We adjourned to the next meeting in July, except for those who will be at the next Mars Movie Night on June 21st: "Mars Needs Women."
