Related Task Forces The Mars Society supports or acknowledges several other task
forces which, while not organized under the TTF, are engaged in scientific or
engineering pursuits vital for human Mars exploration. Our premier project is the
simulation of Mars exploration missions using the
Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station,
and soon the
Mars Desert Research Station. Other projects include the development of
simulated space suits,
construction of
analog Mars rovers,
and an investigation of
closed life support.
