Agenda Items

1) Selecting meeting day:
* This continues to be a biggest problem. Please send Cory an e-mail stating
which day you want to have meetings.

2) Update on web page project:
* Cory has the administration permission to give others write access.  If
you want to help us set up the web page, please contact Cory.
* We need suggestions for items to be displayed on the web page. Current
items (other than our logo) are:
        i. Links to these minutes
        ii. News Letter
        iii. Current Events
        iv. Links to projects

3) Status of News Letter project:
* Amber and Christel to team up to work on news letter proposals
* Contact National for funding

4) Kids Mars book project
* Adrienne wants to volunteer to help work on topics for Kids book/comic

5) Outreach project
* Mars Society - International Conference in August in Oregon state (anyone
interested in attending?)
* Student Space Council meeting in Waterloo, Ont. (anyone interested in
attending?)

6) Astronomical Society meeting news
* No update - need the date for their next meeting

7) Observatory Trip
* July 27

8) National chapter funding raising plans
* Amber has 75 pamphlets from National Chapter
* Calendar / Day-timer plans still being worked on
        i. Might want to coordinate with other chapters
        ii. Expected price around $20.

9) Review Actions
* Phil
        i. Issue minutes
        ii. Check for soft copy of pamphlet from last club days
        iii. Schedule Movie Night
* Cory
        i. Check about event bookings and available lecturers (at a
reasonable price)
* Amber
        i. Talk with Christel about copy of SEOS news letter
        ii. Bring in a copy of the National chapter pamphlets
* Christel
        i. Work with PageMaker getting ready for news letter
* Adrienne
        i. Contact Amber and discuss possible requirements for kids Mars
book/comic
