New Hampshire Chapter Project Descriptions: The following is a listing of our currently scheduled projects. We also have a number of meetings, etcetera, on an ad hoc basis, so if you would like to hear about them as well, sign-up for one of our regional mailing lists (you can sign-up for those lists or find contact information for the various chapter heads by clicking here.) Assembly of a walk-around Mars spacesuit replica headed up by Patrick The idea is to create a replica Mars spacesuit that could not only be used for display, but to draw the attention of the public. It could also be used for fundraising purposes. Creation of a poster describing Mars missions, past and present headed up by Rachel This poster would detail all of the successful (and perhaps the unsuccessful) Mars probes, along with a depiction of the planet as background. If we can find a printer, we may look to have this made for fundraising purposes. Assisting the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord in developing a permanent Mars exhibit with hands-on items. headed up by Tony This will be a major project working with the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium's expansion, to help outfit a Mars Discovery room.
