Article 4: Council Committees
Section 1: Forming Council Committees

Committees may be formed within the Chapter's council to investigate specific issues and facilitate a focused approach. Any recommendations made by committees or subcommittees are subject to approval by the entire council unless they affect only the committee or subcommittee in question. It is recommended that committees use rules of order similar to the complete council, but they are allowed to experiment in order to find ways of improving the rules for the entire council.

Committees will be formed by motion and vote of the entire Chapter's Council. The motion should include a specific purpose for the committee. The members should also be selected by the entire council from a group of volunteers. All volunteers will be accepted unless a member makes a motion to limit the size of the particular committee and it passes. The volunteers will be subject to election by the entire council in such a case.
