Council's Purpose
Section 1: Preamble
This
council is founded under the belief that a highly active membership is crucial
to the success of the Mars Society in promoting the exploration and settlement
of Mars. The council will promote that ideal through the sharing of goals,
strategies, and ideas between all groups within the society. The Internet is
envisioned as the primary communication tool of this council. The use of the
Internet to run such a support function requires a special structure. To that
end, the following rules and regulations were formulated.
