Launch/Transit - Overview
All missions aimed at exploring Mars will require transfer
of payload from the Earth to Mars. That payload may contain humans or it may
consist of materials required to support human exploration. The Launch /
Transit group will investigate the hurdles involved in moving payloads to Mars
and the various possible solutions for doing so.
