Mars Simulations
The Mars Base Simulation is an application that simulates a mars base and allows the user to explore
the surrounding area. It uses an interface similar to real-time strategy games like Age of Empires and
Command & Conquer. The map covers only a small area of Mars, but both the map and the base are simulated
to great detail.
The application is written in Delphi for the Windows platform. The Website is currently in French only.

Virtual Mars is a project to create a fully immersive virtual reality simulation of Mars complete with
3D audio. It's still in its early stages of development.

The Mars Simulation Project is an open source project to create a
simulation of future human settlement on the planet Mars. The application has a scope of the entire
planet but in limited detail. The topography of Mars is fully mapped.
The application is written in Java and should work on any computer with a Java 2 virtual machine.

The Creighton Economic Simulation is a JavaScript-based Web application that calculates the economic growth of
a Mars colony.

SimMars is a commercial simulation game of Mars colonization being developed by
Maxis, makers of SimCity and The Sims.
Its development is currently on hold and it is unlikely to be released.
