Article 6: Monthly Agenda
Section 4: Assigning And Using Priorities

Each council member will have 5 votes to distribute amongst all of the various options on one or more polls. Using more than the allotted votes will negate all of them for that individual. The ten items with the highest number of votes will be placed on the upcoming monthly agenda. The agenda will then be distributed to the Chapter's Council and the general membership of the Mars Society on the first of the following Month.

The items on the agenda will be prioritized with increasing priority for more votes. The priority applies only to the internal discussions of the Chapter's Council. The general membership is free to express their own opinions on priorities as part of their feedback. The Chapter's Council will focus on the top three items at any given time and proceed down the list as items are resolved. More than three items may be tackled at a time by forming a committee or subcommittee to tackle lower priority issues on the agenda or any others that a council member may bring up. An agenda item may be moved up in priority or added to the agenda if a motion is made to do so and passes by greater than 65%. Any such change must be communicated to the members within 48 hours.
